Wind and Window Flower

The poem 'Wind and Window Flower' by Robert Frost caught my attention the most. For one, it was one of the easier ones I was able to analyze. Clearly, the poem is about love. The winter breeze is in love with the window flower. I imagine the flower being the female because it is as delicate and beautiful, while the breeze is male just as open and carefree. The love for the window flower does not seem like it is going to work. The 'breeze' would stand aside waiting for a chance to make his mark but would 'only passed her by, to come again at dark.' With all the wind's doubts and concerns, at last he stopped trying to pursue his love for the 'window flower' with a sigh. And towards the end of the poem 'And morning found the breeze, a hundred miles away.' meaning he was gone, moving on with his life.
